The manga tells the “super-liberal interpretation” of the Hyakuninisshu anthology compiled during Japan’s Heian period of 100 romantic poems from 100 different poets such as The Tale of Genji’s Murasaki Shikibu. The poems are also used as the basis for the karuta card game.

As I told you earlier, I’m more focused on anime so I’m not very good at searching news manga related so I’m searching people who wants to help me. I want to have a team of 3 to 5 people so that we can specialice easier in different fields.

As I followed Chihayafuru fandom on tumblr I realized there is quite a big josei fandom here. I think it was not good that there weren’t a proper place to know about josei related information. So I created it.

In this place we will try to gather Josei anime and manga information.

From now I’m just doing this by myself so the new will be more anime oriented. because I don’t have to much informacion about manga.

If anybody has knowledge about Josei manga news and wants to join just tell us. Reblogging, or on Ask button. I will post latter a bigger post with info.

Ahh and as Josei manga I consider the works that qualifies as it for being more mature works that shoujo titles. Not these works originally shoujo that are sometimes qualified as josei due to sexual scenes. (Mayu Shinjo, for example)
